Refund Policy

At Pre-Owned Phones, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your pre-owned phone for any reason, we offer a hassle-free refund policy. Please read below for full details on how to request a refund.

Returns

  • Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, the phone must be in the same condition that you received it, with no additional damage. It must also be returned in its original packaging with all accessories (if included).
  • Return Period: You have [7-seven] days from the date of delivery to request a return and refund.
  • How to Initiate a Return: To start a return, contact us at support@preownedphones.co.za with your order number and reason for the return. Our team will guide you through the return process and provide you with the return shipping address.

Return Shipping

  • Customer Responsibility: Unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part, you will be responsible for covering the shipping costs to return the phone.
  • Shipping Label: If you’re returning a phone due to a defect or incorrect item, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
  • Tracking: For your protection, we recommend using a trackable shipping service when returning a phone, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item without proof of delivery.

Refunds

  • Processing Time: Once we receive and inspect your returned phone, we will notify you via email regarding the status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed within [7-seven] business days, and the credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method.
  • Partial Refunds: If the phone is returned in a condition different from what was sent (e.g., signs of use, missing accessories), we may deduct a restocking fee of 10% from your refund.

Non-Refundable Items

Certain types of products cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Items marked as "Final Sale"
  • Phones damaged due to improper handling or physical damage after delivery
  • Software or downloadable content

Exchanges

If you received a defective or damaged item, we will gladly replace it. Contact us at support@preownedphones.co.za to initiate an exchange.

Late or Missing Refunds

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account and contact your credit card company first, as it may take some time before the refund is officially posted.
  • If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@preownedphones.co.za.
